I found this cabinet in Value Village in Ottawa when I was visiting my daughter. I just loved it. I love it even more since I painted it.

I really like the vintage, distressed look in furniture. My hubby and I have been painting a lot of it. We found this dresser at a yard sale.  I wanted a wooden Christmas tree because I needed one that could take up less space. It is flat against the wall so this is what I came up with. One of my brother's friends built it for me.    A shelf and 2 jewellery boxes. I am going to paint and distress all of them. I think I will sell the jewellery boxes when they are finished.  The hubby and I went to the flea market on the weekend! We got a few things.
